| Don Enyart January 2, 2007 05:00 PM PST Hi, Soni! I absolutely love your writing style (vivid image-inducing adjectives, shoot-from-the-hip-no-bullshit commentary and a wide variety of informative &/or fun subject matter...what's not to like?) and have since 'meeting' you on the Barbara Sher boards. (I asked you for an inside view of the pros and cons of living in North Carolina, which you graciously answered.) There's something you've been doing lately that I'd like to steal, if you'll share the details...how do you get the line through words? I've done it in my hand-written journals, but didn't know it could be done on the pc! Oh! and your New Year's Eve celebration sounds like Heaven compared to ours...tracing down and repairing an electrical short in new wiring 'til 2 a.m. at the rental house we're remodeling to sell! Anyway, thanks for the entertainment and for any information! | ||
| Soni January 2, 2007 08:29 PM PST Oh gah! Nothing like late night home repair to make you rue your dreams of being a real estate tycoon. :-) The strike-through is a simple matter of placing the html tags < strike > < /strike > (take out the spaces between the words and the brackets) around your text of choice in the html or source view. If you don't know from html tags, here's a quick tutorial: http://www.echoecho.com/htmltext04.htm | ||
| Don Enyart January 23, 2007 06:29 PM PST Ack! Just figured out how to find the comments! Yeesh! Am I slow or what??? Thank you, thank you, thank you, lovely lady! I'll check out the tutorial, too. It's been a couple hundred years since I've messed with html...and THEN it was with a manual at my side! ~Shakey~ | ||
